Following on from the AGM, I dont mind putting something together for fishing comps throughout the season!
Ideas -
Heaviest fish on the day (minimum size restrictions to stop small fish being weighed in?)
Heaviest fish of the season? could be a small plaque presented at end of year BBQ?
Trophy for keenest boat...? ie who always turns up even when blowing from the east?
daft trophy for unluckiest boat etc? just to make it fun, get members involved, share ideas and above all safe, good fun when on the water!!
Could even invite wother clubs for inter club comps (ie open comps but only to other club members...?)
Just a few ideas but really keen on any other ideas!! I really dont mind organising it and getting it up and running.

Hi at the A.G.M I mentioned about a fishing competition and it was agreed that me ( Pip ) and Gareth should organise it well any help would be appreciated but as it stands it will be Sunday 26th may as Monday is a bank holiday also i would like to thank Norma from Amble Angling Centre for donating a prize to this competition when Norma is running a competition her self for charity which me and Gareth will be entering Back to our boat competition we have been talking to people and we think that the price should be £5 per person to enter all friends and family are welcome into the comp as long as they go on a boat from our club only this is a none profit comp and is for club members to get out onto the sea with there boats
